Wednesday
9:00 AM
3 slices of whole grain bread (Natural Ovens) with almond butter (MaraNatha). I eat at home before I drive to school. Usually I watch an episode of a sitcom or read the newspaper. I eat this whole grain bread for the fiber and because I like the way it tastes. I used to eat the bread with peanut butter but I switched to almond butter to try something new. Also, I get sick(er) if I eat it at any other time of the day.
I drink a few glasses of water and take my digestive enzymes, multi-probiotic, ginger root, GABA, and a daily vitamin (Twinlab).
12:00 PM
A footlong sub at Subway. Wheat bread, turkey, American cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, spinach. Water from my bottle and a multi-probiotic. I have found that on my days with fewer classes (Mondays & Wednesdays) it has become easier for me to eat a healthier lunch (I usually grab a slice or two of pizza at Mesa Pizza).
3:30 PM
Munched on a few Girl Scout cookies – Trefoils. Glass of Naked Juice – Green Machine. I drink that juice for the fruit. I know it is not the same as eating fruit, but I cannot digest a lot of fruits well. Plus, I find the juice absolutely delicious.
6:00 PM
At home, a large salad with a variety of leaves, some lite-caesar dressing (Ken’s Steak House Dressing), almonds, chicken strips (Kirkland). A few glasses of water. Mulit-probiotic. GABA.
Thursday
8:30 AM
At home, 3 slices of whole grain bread (Natural Ovens) with almond butter (MaraNatha).
Water with the same pills as Wednesday.
12:15 PM
A slice and a half (saved the other half) of cheese pizza at Mesa Pizza. Water, multi-probiotic.
2:45 PM
In class, munched on Triscuits (Nabisco). Was curious about the ingredients: whole grain soft white winter wheat, soybean oil, salt. Huh. The healthiest Nabisco product?
More water.
4:30 PM
At home, the other half of the slice of cheese pizza. Glass of Naked Juice – Blue Machine. Water, multi-probiotic.
7:00 PM
Home, same salad as Wednesday. A few glasses of water.
Friday

At home, 3 slices of whole grain bread (Natural Ovens) with almond butter (MaraNatha). My classes begin later on Fridays so I can sleep in a little. Same water, same pills.
1:30 PM
Meet friend for lunch at that Thai restaurant in Stadium Village. I ate the Pad Thai with mock duck and a fortune cookie. Water with multi-probiotic, GABA.
4:00 PM
Stayed on campus to study and munched on Triscuits. More water.
6:30 PM
At home, bowl of mac and cheese (Annie’s). Some strawberries and a smaller version of my usual salad. More water, multi-probiotic, GABA.
*All the water I drink from my bottle is filtered tap water.
