Titled this Exciting Food Journal because this weekend's meals are much more varied and delicious than a usual weekend because my best friend was in town; a typical weekend is more meals at home. My typical Tu-Th I have class all day and chug OJ, a glass of milk, and a glass of water at bfast with my vitamin, eat two Uncrustabes for lunch and a large pasta-based dinner at home.
Friday
8:00a Wake up late rushing to work, chug a glass of organic skim milk while my Cafe du Monde coffee drips though my Kurig into my steel coffee mug. Grab FiberOne toaster strudels and run to catch the bus, typical of working mornings Fri-Mon. I eat these things because they are super fast and kick start my morning; I try to eat organic and control portion size while still being nutritious, plus I am a sugar-o-holic and must have sugar for every meal.
12:30p Two hand fulls Organic Girl brand spinach with cold organic chicken pieces and Lucini Italia Cherry Balsamic & Rosemary Vinaigrette (best dressing EVER). Salad eaten twice a week while at babysitting; lucky they have the kinds of food I love! Eat this because it is super healthy and makes me feel good.
5:00p Two slices of leftover Punch Pizza, margarita style. Yum! Go out maybe twice a week, always eat half my meal and eat the leftovers the next night. Ate 1/3 box of leftover Mac&Cheese, extra hungry because went for a 4 mi. run when I got home from babysitting.
Naturally like to eat dinner around 5:00 or 6:00p.
8:00p Small homemade sugar cookie w blue icing and three cups of organic, low-caffeine raspberry tea. Very regular- have this most nights. Super sugar addict, what can I say, and hot tea while I read for three/four hours a night (English major) is a must.
Saturday
10:00a Eat two large pancakes with my best friend/roommate Rachel has made. Buttermilk with strawberries, bananas and real maple syrup! Have a cup of organic green tea and a glass of organic skim milk. Typical weekend bfast. Love the sugar, love the bitterness of the tea and how healthy it is. Always eat my Flintstone vitamin.
2:00p Cleaning my house and get hungry. Eat 1/3 of the still leftover Mac&Cheese and large glass of from concentrate OJ. Go running and don't eat again even though I'm hungry because going out w friend for dinner and then drinking and don't want the extra calories.
7:00p Eat at Chile's with bffs. Have salmon fillet with loaded potatoes- cheese, chives, bacon, and cinnamon apples. Eat bit less than half of my meal. Not quite full but know I'll be drinking so don't eat as much as I want.
9:00-11:00p Have two Light Mike's Hards because they are less calories, and love them because I can't taste any alcohol. Have one shot of Patron.
12:00a-2:00a Have two shots of tequila, don't know what kind, and a Miller's Light. Mostly drink these because we are at a too-loud club and I want to be having more fun than I am. When we get home I eat three bites of my leftover dinner since I've been drinking and dancing, and drink two glasses of water to try and stave off a morning hangover. Usually go out every couple weeks during the school year and have a little less than this much alcohol.
Sunday
11:00a Woke up late because stayed up late partying. Go to the Uptown Diner (First time SO GOOD) tiny bit hungover and very hungry. Get Eggs Florentine which is tomatoes, spinach and eggs topped with hollendaise sauce. Steal extra tomatoes and mushrooms from my not-healthnut friends. Remove the English Muffins from the bottom because I don't want the extra carbs. Eat half and save the rest for bfast tomorrow. Eaten because it is my favorite, and especially because of the guilt over the poison I drink last night. Have two cups of coffee and a glass of apple juice.
3:00p Drink four glasses of water, dehydrated from drinking last night and from my 4 mi. run today. Have a glass of milk and pack two Uncrustables for lunch at work. Eaten because fast.
6:00p Will probably eat Angle hair pasta with butter for dinner with cinnamon sugar apples for dessert and drink a glass of milk. Probably will have a cookie and several cups of raspberry tea.
